The pendant features a large 12mm southsea shell pearl, and it has an 18K yellow gold overlay to make it tarnish free. Although machine made, only shown when it goes under a jeweler’s magnifying visor, because these pearls are high quality and look astonishingly real with a beautiful luster, clean surface, a perfectly round shape, and also the same weight of a real south sea pearl that would have set you back for thousands of dollars.
If you are not familiar with south sea shell pearls, please note these pearls are not real pearls from oysters. They are the best imitation pearls for south sea pearls. People love them so we carry them because they look and feel like south sea pearls, but only at a fraction of south sea pearls which would cost thousands for pearls at this size and roundness.
